—President Obama in North Carolina today on why Congress has to act to prevent interest rates on student loans from doubling (via barackobama)
When Obama was nominated, he got a lot of criticism for not having military experience. I think it’s more pertinent that he had the experience of not growing up wealthy and privileged in America. How can someone who’s never had to worry about money or loans create a fair policy about them? -Jess

What I love about Studio Ghibli films is that, in most of them, the love shared between two characters isn’t showy, passionate, or exaggerated. Most of the love interests don’t even kiss, let alone voice their love for each other. It’s beautiful to me, how simple and innocent young love is portrayed in Ghibli films.

She’s Different. January 20th, 2012.
I’ve been drawing her nonstop as of late, and I am halfway through the second book.
I am obsessed. Just plain as that. And I was practically drooling over the new movie.
Which I guess I am plugging now: it is so. utterly. worth it.But I hope you have a good stomach for dark subject matter.
